Holocentropus picicornis
Length 6 to 9 mm. A fairly small caddisfly with dark brown wings mottled with pale yellow.
Around still and slow flowing water, but also attracted to light.
May to September.
Larvae found on immersed vegetation.
Scattered but widespread records from Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
