Albugo lepigoni is a white fungoid (fungus-like organism) that attacks Sea-spurries (Spergularia).

Roadsides - wherever Spergularia species occur.

When to see it

Summer.

UK Status

Little recorded and mainly coastal in Britain, but may increasingly be found inland as the host species (Spergularia sp.) move inland along well salted roads.

VC55 Status

Rare or under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
