Description

A distinctive wasp with yellow bands on both the thorax and abdomen. It has dark smudges on each wing. The legs are largely black but with yellow on the underside of the femora.

Life History

Prey mainly comprises cicadellid and cercopid bugs.

Mainly southern England, possibly advancing.
