Lasioglossum rufitarse
Description
Wing length 4-5.5mm. This small bee is generally dark with relatively few pale hairs.

- wing length 5-5.5mm (females), 4-5mm (males)
- apical depressions of tergites 2-4 virtually without punctures
- females have tergite 1 with punctures confined to the sides
- top of the propodeum rugose over most of the surface
Habitat
Open woodland and wooded brownfield sites.
When to see it
March - October

Widespread and reasonably common in England and Wales up to the Midlands.
