Bees Needs Week (10–17 July 2023) is back with a call for the public to take five simple steps to help boost bee numbers and monitor pollinators in their local green spaces. There are 25 species of bumblebee in Britain, but some are rare or aren't found in Leicestershire and Rutland. The species featured in this free guide are those you are most likely to encounter in gardens and general habitats. If you learn to recognise these species, you will be able to identify 90% of the bumblebees you see!
