34 of the 47 UK ladybird species have been recorded on NatureSpot so far. The 12 most commonly recorded are shown in the new illustrated guide. Most ladybirds are colourful and can be identified from their colours and patterns. A few also have variant colour forms which could confuse so we have illustrated some of these also.
