Analysis from Friends of the Earth has found that nearly half of English neighbourhoods have less than 10% tree cover, with lower-income areas having far fewer trees than wealthier ones. Data at neighbourhood level shows that Leicester is in the bottom third for tree cover in urban neighbourhoods.
