Slugs and Snails

The Royal Horticultural Society no longer classes slugs and snails as pests. NatureSpot has been slug-friendly for rather longer. More...

Considering both the weather and the fact that the RHS now says gastropods play an important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem (careful not mentioning all the years it's been trying to kill them), may we suggest that you get outside and spend some time recording our molluscan friends. It's the perfect weather, but please have a look at our ID Guide to Slugs and Snails before you do.
