Charnwood Forest is a unique landscape, marked out by its volcanic geology. Despite covering less than 10% of Leicestershire, Charnwood Forest contains more than 50% of its Sites of Special Scientific Interest. NatureSpot is pleased to be able to support Charnwood Forest LPS and for their financial support. As our contribution to the project, NatureSpot will: 

• Review and provide expert verification for biological records submitted
• Format and distribute records to all relevant local and national recording schemes
• Provide a dataset of all wildlife record data relating to the Charnwood Forest area
• Create a dedicated Charnwood Forest project section on the NatureSpot website
