Willow-leaved Pear - Pyrus salicifolia
Leaves downy and similar to White Willow especially early in the season. It has small pear shaped fruits and white, five petalled flowers with many stamens.
Occasionally planted.

Deciduous, perennial tree.
Occasional in Britain, nearly always resulting from planting.
Rare or under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland. It was not recorded in the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire.
