A very small, six legged, unarmored scale insect with a waxy covering.
Associated with grasses.
Most likely to be found in summer and autumn.
Status in Britain not known.
Rare or under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland. The Odstone specimen of 4th September 2015 is the first record of this species in VC55.
