Verrucaria hochstetteri
The thallus is variably pale grey to grey-green or even red-tinged. It has large, completely immersed perithecia (to 0.8mm diam) which leave conspicuous pits in the substrate when they decay.
On suitable limestone habitats, including man-made structures .
All year round.
Common and widespread in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
