Tranzschelia discolor
Tranzschelia discolor is a rust with the primary host, Prunus sp., chiefly Prunus domestica. Small brown uredinia and black telia are borne on the leaf undersides, but these are not gall-causers.
Galls are caused on the alternate host, Anemone, including Anemone blanda, A coronaria or A fulgens; white aecia and spermogonia cover the leaf undersides, causing thickening of the leaf.
