Spotted Snake Millipede - Blaniulus guttulatus
This blind Blanulid is a pale cream species with long hairs on the body ring and blood red spots (ozadenes) on the sides.
Confusion is most likely with the two other blind Blanulids: Archiboreoiulus pallidus and Boreoiulus tenuis, which both have orange ozadenes.
A subterranean species found in cultivated soils.
All year round.
Widespread in Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
