Description

A spiny, gorse-like deciduous shrub with green stems and spines and leafy flowering shoots bearing terminal clusters of bright yellow flowers.

Sometimes included in municipal planting.  This species can escape to become naturalised in bare, untended areas.

Deciduous shrub.

UK Status

Occasionally occurs as a naturalised escape in various parts of Briain.

Infrequently recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
