Rosy Garlic - Allium roseum
This small wild garlic from the Mediterranean reaches about 50-75cm in height and is topped by an umbel of fragrant florets having six pink or lilac tepals. Bulbils may or may not be present.

Rough or cultivated ground. Hedgerows, waysides, wasteland.
Flowers from late spring to early summer.
Introduced/naturalised with a patchy distribution concentrated around southern coasts.
Scarce or under-recorded. It is not cited in Jeeves's 2011 Checklist, however there is one specimen in the herbarium at Barrow collected by Chester in Barrowden (near Northants), which may or may not have been within VC55.
