Rhubarb Leaf-spot - Ramularia rhei
The white mould Ramularia rhei causes Rhubarb Leaf-spot. This takes the form of roughly circular or oval, sunken, reddish or tan coloured lesions on the leaves and stems of Rhubarb. Small white tufts of conidia in caespituli, emerging from stomata, should be visible.
Ramularis pratensis var. pratensis may also cause leaf-spotting on Rhubarb. A Downy Mildew (Peronospora jaapiana) may also affect Rhubarb.
Photograph on the host plant, and note this in your coments. Microscopic examination is needed. We recommend that your record is verified from a specimen by an expert before submission to NatureSpot
