Psilopa nitidula

Description

3mm. Glossy black/bronze. Front tibia and tarsi all black. Hind tibia and tarsi, plus mid tarsi, yellow. Halteres white.

Overwinters amongst evergreen vegetation.

Reasonably common and widespread in England with few records from Scotland.
