Populicerus laminatus
Length 6-7mm. Predominantly brown with white spot in clavus, a pale band in the apical half of the wings and dark veins. Thyridia dark, contrasting with a mostly unmarked face. Pronotum darker in posterior half.
Other Populicerus species.
Close examination of a specimen is needed. Provide photographs taken from top, side and face; and note the host plant.
On poplars, especially Aspen (Populus tremula) and Grey Poplar (P. x canescens).
Between June and October.
