Phytocoris longipennis
Length about 7 mm. Phytocoris species have a distinctive appearance due to the long hind femora and long 1st antennal segment. In Phytocoris longipennis the distribution of black on the pronotum is not sharply defined and the upperside is diffusely mottled with brown or black. The pale bands on the mid tibiae are wider than the dark bands.
Other Phytocoris species, especially P. dimidiatus.

Found on a range of deciduous trees.
Adult: June-October
Feeds on small insects and mites.
Widespread across Britain.
