Philaeus chrysops

Description

A non-native jumping spider sometimes imported with plants or for the pet trade from Europe and North Africa. Length 5.5-9.7mm. Opisthosoma - females and juvenile males: black with 2 long white spots, sometimes formed like 2 parallel lines; male red with longish, black stripe, ending pointed, with white margin. Legs black, with bright hairs.
