Oncopsis alni
Length 5 - 6 mm; females larger than males. Sexually dimorphic and variable in colouration and intensity of markings. Nymphs cannot be verified.
Predominantly yellowish-brown to reddish-brown.
Other Oncopsis species.
Detailed examination of the specimen is needed to identify this species. You must note the host plant.
Alder (Alnus glutinosa, A. incana).
Miid-May to September.
