Olibrus aeneus
A very small (2 mm) shiny dark beetle. Identification is very difficult and dissection may be necessary.
Associated with Scentless Mayweed, Ox-eye Daisy and other Compositae flowers.
Summer and autumn.
Widespread in England and Wales.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
