Oak Curtain Crust - Hymenochaete rubiginosa
A perennial capped corticoid , very dark in colour with stiff convex cap and a dark reddish-brown fertile surface with projecting brown bristles (setae) - use a strong hand lens.

Deciduous old stumps, usually oak
