Neophilaenus campestris
Length 5 to 6mm. Relatively easily identified by the two pale areas on the costal margin in the apical half of the wing, on an otherwise pale brownish background; it does not have a distinct pale margin running the length of the costa.
Can be identified by external features at 5-10X magnification.

Grassy places.
June to September.
Mostly in the south of Britain.
Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland.
