Nemurella pictetii

Description

Length overall about 1 cm including wings, body is slightly less as the wings extend beyond the abdomen. Although the insect is rather grey in overall appearance the abdomen is brown in colour. There are similar species and identification requires detailed examination. Pictures placed in a red box can only be said to be typical of Nemurella picteti.

Hatching period spans from April to October.
