Nemastoma bimaculatum
This is a small but distinctive harvestman. The white spots behind the head, pale stripe on the abdomen and relatively short legs make it easy to identify.
Mainly a woodland species, it lives on the ground.
All year round.
It predates on small creatures that it can overpower.
Very common and widespread throughout Britain.
Frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
