Micrargus herbigradus

1.8 to 2.5 mm.

Usually found in moss, leaf litter and detritus in woods, but can occur in other, varied habitats.

It is adult at all seasons of the year with a peak from late spring to mid-summer.

The species is widespread in most of Britain, but apparently very scattered or absent some areas.

Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
