A small (2 to 2.5 mm) grey- brown, sometimes slightly red tinted weevil.

Habitat

Strongly associated with Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) and can be found in meadows etc. where the foodplant grows.

Widespread and fairly frequent in the southern half of Britain.

Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
