Body length 1.3 to 1.8 mm.

- Tibial spines: 1-1-1-1
- Metatarsus IV: trichobothrium present
- Position of TmI by range: 0.9 to 0.95.

Females year round but peak time is in summer.

Common and widespread in Britain.
