Linnavuoriana sexmaculata
Length 3.5 mm. This species is similar to L. decempunctata but is greenish in colour and has four spots on the pronotum (occasionally two) rather than six. The two spots on the vertex are also smaller. The extent of the dark patches on the forewings is variable, and in some cases the middle patches are fused into a transverse band.
Found primarily on willows moving to yew and other evergreens in the winter.
Adult: All year
Widespread in England and Wales.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
