Limnephilus hirsutus
Forewing length 10 to 12 mm. A medium sized plain yellow-brown caddis which is similar to several other species.
Small, bare muddy trickles and ditches.
April to September.
Widespread but rather local in distribution in Britain.
Occasional and with localised distribution in Leicestershire and Rutland.
