Lecidea fuscoatra
A crust forming lichen that varies in colour from a dirty whitish brown, to greenish, reddish or ochre. It is smooth, becoming cracked.
On siliceous but nutrient-enriched rocks and stonework (as when mortar has been used with base-poor rocks or birds perch on them).
All year round.
Widespread and common in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
