Late Cotoneaster - Cotoneaster lacteus
A large shrub with arching branches bearing oval leaves to 6 cm in length, white-hairy beneath. Large clusters of small white flowers are followed by clusters of small red berries.

Often planted and sometimes occurs as an escape from cultivation.
All year round, flowering in spring.
Large evergreen shrub.
Widespread but occasional in England and Wales as an alien or escape from cultivation.
Little recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland. It was not recorded in the 1979 Flora survey of Leicestershire.
