Description

The fruit bodies consist of a white fertile, upper surface, margins and exteriors set with reddish brown hairs. The exteriors are often speckled a yellowish brown too. They grow without stalks, usually quite well spaced on their host. (Up to 1mm diameter.)

Habitat

Fruiting on dead stems of herbaceous plants including those of Great Willowherb, Meadowsweet, Solomon's Seal and Common Nettle.
