Issus coleoptratus
Length 6.1-7.7mm. The huge number of cross-veins in the wings is very characteristic; there is only one similar species, Issus muscaeformis, but this is much rarer.

It is found on a range of woody plants, including most common deciduous trees.
Adult: June to November.
It is fairly frequent in England, especially in the southeast, but rarer in Scotland and Wales.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
