Idiocerus lituratus
Length 5.5 to 6.5 mm. The forewing is brownish, mottled with white spots and a faint dark band. The face is mostly light; the distance between ocelli is greater than the distance from ocellus to antennal base.
Oher Idiocerinae found on sallows and willows; best distinguished from Idiocerus stigmaticalis by apical wing venation
Take photographs of top, side and face, ensuring apical wing venation is clearly visible; note host plant
Associated with various willows.
Adult: July to November.
