Hypomma cornutum

Description

Size 2.1 to 2.8 mm. Prosoma brown to red-brown. Legs yellow-orange. Opisthosoma black.

Habitat

Mainly found in woodland, on bushes, trees and herbaceous vegetation. 

When to see it

Spring to Autumn.

UK Status

Widespread in central southern England becoming more localised and scattered elsewhere.

VC55 Status

In Leicestershire the species is abundant on evergreen trees and shrubs in churchyards and urban parks.
