Hyperphyscia adglutinata
Greenish brown and with a small thallus, usually up to 15mm, though multiple thalli may join together creating a larger patch. Long, thin lobes are palmate at their tips. Apothecia are uncommon but are brown with a swollen margin when present.
Usually on shaded trees, particularly those that are nutrient enriched. Especially Elder.
Common in the south, less so from the midlands northwards.
Uncommon.
