Heteromyza rotundicornis

5mm. Grey thorax and scutellum with an orange abdomen. Costal spines on the wings. The face is slightly narrower than the frons.

Heteromyza commixta is very similar but has a face as wide as the frons.

Unless identified by a recognised expert, photographic evidence is required and the specimen should be examined with a microscope. In the comments box, state the key or ID method used.
