Hesperocorixa sahlbergi
7 to 8 mm with seven to nine pale lines on the pronotum. The pattern of light lines on a dark background fades to a pale patch near the apex of the corium.
Hesperocorixa linnaei

Occurs in a range of still-water habitats, usually with emergent vegetation and a fairly high concentration of organic matter in solution.
All year.
Overwinters as an adult.
Widespread and common in Britain.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
