Hemicoelus fulvicornis
Size: 3.5 to 3.8 mm. A tiny wood boring beetle which is a dark, dull grey in colour. It has a hood-like pronotum and a dark stripe along the front tibia.

Associated with several species of deciduous trees.
Most likely to be encountered in summer and early autumn.
Widespread in south-east England and the Midlands.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
