Golovinomyces orontii

Description

Golovinomyces orontii is a powdery mildew which affects a range of hosts in several families, including plants in the Cucurbitaceae family (cucumbers, pumpkins, etc.).  See Woods et al (2024) for a full host-list.

Other powdery mildew species may affect some hosts in the range; microscopic examination may be needed. Refer to Woods et al (2024) for details

A wide range of herbaceous plants; often recorded on cultivated Cucurbitaceae (pumpkins, courgettes, etc.)

It is possible that this is a species complex of different closely related species that are more specific with regard to host plants
