Fern-leaved Corydalis - Corydalis cheilanthifolia

Description

Usually grows to between 20 and 30cm high, with dense yellow flower spikes and fern like leaves which sometimes have a bronze tinge.

Walls or disturbed ground. Sometimes found as an escape from cultivation and close to habitation.

Perennial.

Widespread, but very occasional records in England.

Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
