Eupteryx florida
Length 3 to 3.5 mm. This species is best recognised by the deeply incised black mark on the midline of the vertex, and by the separation of the lateral black mark on the pronotum from the complex central pattern. The scutellum has two black triangles and two black dots between.
Can only be identified by examination of internal genital structure.
Feeds on a variety of plants in the family Labiateae, including dead-nettle and mint.
Adult: April to November
Fairly common.
