Empoasca decipiens
Length 3.5 to 4 mm. A small, slender green leafhopper, without hyaline stripes in forewing. There are whitish marks on the vertex and pronotum.
Empoasca vitis has hyaline (clear) stripes on forewings. There are several other related genera which can be separated by wing venation and vertex shape

In low vegetation.
Adult: June to December.

Fairly common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
