Egghead Mottlegill - Panaeolus semiovatus
Cap 2 to 6cm across, ovate-bell-shaped, never expanding, clay white tinged yellowish towards centre. Stem slightly thickened at base, whitish with a white persistent ring.
On weathered dung of herbivores, usually horse and cow dung
Found from late spring to early winter.
Widespread but infrequently recorded in Britain
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland.
