Dolerus aeneus
Length 6 to 10 mm. This species is very similar to many others in the genus Dolerus. It is mainly black, with a pronounced dark stigma on the leading edge of each wing.

Meadows and damp grassland.
April to July
Widespread and fairly common in Britain.
Common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
