Cushion Bracket - Phellinus pomaceus
A medium sized perennial hoof-shaped to reflexed bracket, pale brown in colour with a rounded margin. 4 - 6 small pores per mm, and short bristles on the fertile surface.

Almost always on Prunus species - plum, damson, blackthorn, cherry plum - oocasionally on other species such as hawthorn
Widespread in England and Wales, more scattered further north.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
