Coral Spot - Nectria cinnabarina

Description

The small orange pustules of Coral Spot are very distinctive, but there is also a pinker colour form. The pustules measure about 2 mm across.

Found on the bark of dead deciduous tree branches.

October to December.

Widespread and common in Britain.
